Life in Mexico Frances Calderón de la Barca 9781374885677 Books Reviews
Hard to read and understand
Good read!
Being familiar with almost all the places that Madame Calderon describes I felt bad that these sites had changed so much for worse. I only wish that the writer had traveled to more places .
I have the Spanish version, but wanted it in English and now so difficult to find. Excellent to know how a foreigner saw us, mexicans, in 1840. A beauty of an edition. IRMA DICKINSON
I don't know how many times I've read this book--and I'm sure to keep reading it again and again.
