This was a pretty exciting and steamy murder/mystery where the bad guys aren't who you think they are...and the surprises keep on coming.
It was steamy as heck and features Axe, who can't keep women off of him or out of his space but meets his match in a straight-laced 'citizen' who does what no woman before her ever was able to do...keep Axe interested in a more permanent way.
There was a lot of the usual clubhouse antics (meetings, runs and parties), pushy women and even pushier men (the ones in suits and not vests) but the main storyline is the solving of a cold case murder and the witness left behind who the killer wants gone.
A really good book and even though there were a couple of issues that were not believable, I liked it a lot and would read more of this series.

Love this series!! Axe and Baylee are night and day with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. What are the chances that when you finally meet the man of your dreams that his life will intersect with yours when you least expect it or realize what is happening. Great plot with good rwist and turns. Just wish for more!!! 😂
Chiah Wilders Insurgent Motorcycle Club books are great. They are full of great characters and you never get bored with the story lines. Each main character is different in their style and their way of thinking and bring out how they can have the kind of life they want and need. Anyone who wants to be reading about strong men and their love and need to help their women with some wide ways thrown in will love this book and all the others.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes wrongs turned to right. All of the stories in the Insurgents series, are so well written. I love them. I read the first in the series. I was hooked!! What a great author Chiah Wilder is. There's some violence in them. But where do we not have violence in our lives? Anymore.. This made me look at how I look at different people. I admit. I looked at gang's. Maybe I am wrong, I will try to be more open minded.. Thankyou .

I love this series! Each book seems better then the last. I really enjoyed reading about Baylee and Axe. There first meeting was sweet I thought. She's so dedicated to her job and moving up to make partner. I love how the female lead in this series always has a strong dedication to her job. Such a breath of fresh air! Axe is 100 percent Alpha Male! Baylee really puts him in his place and he doesn't like it! He Loves it! These two are a perfect match. Has a great suspense until the end. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the next. Chiah Wilder has me hooked!

The problem with reading Axe's Fall, is once you read book 1, you just have to read all of the series. No man lives alone, and the way past people and events are brought into the current book, makes it more like real life. Everyone has something in their past that they have risen above. They have strong ethics, and have made a place where they can strive. I love this series as she tries to remember/has flashbacks, on who killed her mother when she was a child, and Axe with his MC helps her/falls for her. This book is just packed and it is not one of those that you just zip threw, but you take your time, as it is so well written.
Jax and Baylee couldn't be more perfect for each other! Their story starts off with them eyeing each other at a friend's wedding. Baylee forced herself to take what she needed from Jax when they locked eyes at that wedding, which was one night full of intense and delicious sex....the only catch? No particulars- no names, no occupations, no numbers, no nothing.

After their delicious night together, neither can stop thinking about the other, if only they did exchange numbers!! Damn! But fate had other plans for them, their jobs pushed them back together. And once they locked eyes across a boardroom table and were formally introduced, there was no stopping the love train from rolling through.

BUT someone is lerking beyond the shadows trying to destroy their happiness and take Baylee's life. Can The shadows be stopped and will Baylee trust Jax enough to tell him about her family's tragedy?

Jax and Baylee's story had tons of ups and downs, but their love for each other was fierce and kept them together!!

I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE INSURGENTS BOOKS!!!! PLEASE write about Throttle!! I feel, from the tidbits about him throughout the series, that he had an extremely tough past and that he has definite trust issues when it comes to women. BUT I also feel like he's a badass who needs a strong, takes-no-shit badass chick that can put a beat down on anyone just as the guys! I hope I'm right! PLEASE write his story!!
